"The Apartment was (and still is) based in an imposing 18th-century building overlooking the canal in Christianshavn. It’s where Busck and her husband raised their children, and where her husband’s mother has lived for 50 years, making it a place full of happy memories. It was this love of creating a home that led Busck to turn an empty apartment into a joyful, lamp-lit gallery space, decorated as if she might live there."

The Apartment Residence is designed to feel like a true home away from home. Spread across 180 square meters, the two-bedroom, one-bathroom residence combines comfort with space, making it effortless to settle in and feel at ease.
Tina has personally styled every detail, drawing on her collection of mid-century icons and antiques alongside folk art, traditional craft, and thoughtfully chosen fabrics.
Furniture by Alvar Aalto and Svenskt Tenn sits alongside lighting by Paavo Tynell and Atelier Vime — all harmonized to create an environment that is both elevated and deeply inviting. On the walls, artworks by Isabella Ducrot and Nathalie du Pasquier, photographs by John Kasmin, and woven tapestries by Märta Måås-Fjetterström hang beside ceramics by Birger Kaipiainen.
The result is a residence that feels artistic and refined, yet warm and welcoming - a space where every piece tells a story.
Inside, shelves are thoughtfully filled with literature on art, design, and architecture, reinforcing the belief that one of the true luxuries of travel is the time to read, reflect, and immerse oneself in inspiration.
