During 3daysofdesign The Apartment presents an exhibition Artists I Collect and Admire curated by Tina Seidenfaden Busck, bringing together works by artists she has long lived with, admired, and collected. This new chapter gathers Yto Barrada, Isabella Ducrot, Nathalie du Pasquier, Alekos Fassianos, John Kasmin, Hylton Nel and Peter Schlesinger, among others, returning to the act of collecting as a continuous movement between looking, living, and making.Painting, photography, ceramics, textiles, and collage exist within material languages where distinctions between art, craft, and design soften into shared registers of form, colour, surface, and rhythm,each holding its own tempo and asking for a different eye. Installed throughout the universe of The Apartment, the exhibition unfolds across rooms shaped by time and use. Artworks appear among Scandinavian furniture, antiques, books, textiles, and collected objects, entering into quiet relationships with one another and with the slower cadence of the house, a lived space for cultural encounter and experimentation.The exhibition becomes a way of inhabiting art: through intuition, sensitivity, and the quiet accumulation of affinities. “I don’t go by any rules,” says Tina Seidenfaden Busck. “If I like it, I go for it.”
