Hylton Nel

Hylton Nel was born in Zambia in 1941 and studied at the Camberwell School of Arts and Crafts in London before completing a Diploma in Ceramics at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp. He lives and works in the Karoo region of South Africa, where he has developed a singular ceramic practice.

His work has been exhibited at the Rhode Island School of Design Museum in Providence and The Fine Art Society in London.
