Shipping & Returns
Delivery
Orders are dispatched using UPS for domestic and international orders. For larger or especially vulnerable items a third-party is used depending on size, destination and handling.
For orders within the EU the shipping rate depend on the size of the order. For orders overseas the shipping rate depend on the voluminous weight. In both cases, the rate and price will automatically be calculated at check-out.
All packages are insured, and the costumer will be provided with a tracking number via email as soon as the order has been completed and dispatched.
All orders are dispatched within 1-5 working days, given that the order is in stock. Shipping times are between 3-10 business days, depending on the costumers location and unless other is stated.
When an order is placed a receipt will be sent to the email that has been registered during the order placement and the costumer is bound to the purchase and can therefore not modify or cancel the order.
If the package or its content of the package is damaged upon arrival, please report this to The Apartment no later that 72 hours after delivery.
Return
The costumer may return the purchase up to 14 days after receiving the item(s). The product(s) must be returned unused and wrapped safely. The cost associated with the return will be covered by the costumer. The item must be shipped without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the costumer have received the purchase. If an item is personalised or specifically made to order it cannot be returned or refunded.
The item must be returned as received and unused. Returns that have been used or damaged will not be accepted and will be sent back to the costumer at the costumers expense. The costumer must make sure that the item is properly wrapped before returning it. The costumer carry the risk of the package, as well as the content of the package, until The Apartment receive the parcel. Therefore, for parcel shipments, the costumer must keep a receipt stating that the parcel has been submitted or delivered.
Should you receive a product that is damaged, defective or suffering from defects, and the defect has not been disclosed by the seller before the trade, please contact us. For insurance reasons, do not return the item immediately, but contact seller (e-mail) as soon as possible to agree on return of the item. One can be offered remediation or a new delivery, if possible, a suitable discount in the price or cancellation of the purchase and repayment of the amount.
