“It’s been a dream of mine to bring The Apartment’s personal design sensibility to a more intimate level."
Tina Seidenfaden Busck
This new intimate experience is a step beyond that of a typical boutique hotel, as you get to stay in your very own apartment designed for ultimate comfort and domestic ease in a beautifully restored 18th century listed residential building. The Apartment is located in the charming Christianshavn district of old Copenhagen and has uninterrupted views overlooking the canal and the spire of Our Savior’s Church.
The Apartment is equipped with an extended kitchenette, a cozy drawing room with a library featuring a handpicked book collection, a large central room doubling as dining or work space, a spacious bathroom in green Swedish marble with a comfortable bathtub, and two generous bedrooms with queen size beds fitted with crisp Egyptian cotton bedding.

Tina Seidenfaden Busck has over the years collected furniture and objects for this project. The Apartment is carefully curated with a continuously changing selection of art and design objects from the 20th century and significant pieces from many of the renowned contemporary designers that have previously exhibited at The Apartment, such as Ilse Crawford, Jessica Ogden, Märta Måås-Fjetterström and Muller van Severen.
The Apartment also displays pieces from Tina Seidenfaden Busck’s private art collection, with characteristic works by artists such as Tómas Saraceno, Nathalie du Pasquier and François Halard as well as distinctive Japanese, African and Mexican folk art. The Apartment is a singular expression of luxurious at-home comfort – an ideal aesthetic experience and a restorative stay.
"I’ve spent the past decade acquiring art pieces and objects from stellar designers we’ve worked with over the years with this project in mind."
